1. Good Morning:
Kayakairan at 6:00 to 6:30
Kayakairan (In
details in English) is a mixture of report, interviews and
news that are published in the daily newspapers of Kathmandu.
The distribution of newspaper in Nepal is not easy because of
lack of transport facilities, tough terrain and low literacy
rate as well as the lack of purchasing capacity of the rural
poor. The programme serve the rural community from east to
west Nepal by selecting and reading headlines of the news
papers, field based report, interviews and feature as news.
The programme has started at 2001 through 3 FM stations of
Nepal using the internet transfer technology. From 2004, the
programme is distributed through V-sat and is on the air from
more than one dozen FM stations of Nepal.

2. Good Night from Nepal Darpan (Nepal Mirror) at
8:00 to 8:30 PM
- Nepal Darpan
is news and current affair radio programme which cover
politics, economy and major concern of the Nepali
society.
- The magazine
contains News, Radio report, Vox-pop, Interviews on
development issues.
- Major
development issues and other events are packaged with
perspective of common people.
3. Alopalo :
An Exchange in between FM Network
Alopalo is an weekly exchange of
radio programme that we are hosting for the nine FM radio
stations through our network. This programme goes on air on
every Monday at 8 AM from all broadcasting partners. The
content of the programme is about human rights, torture, local
culture and diverse life style. The programme is produce
routinely by the all FM stations. As a production hub CC
facilitate the theme of the programme and coordinates and
distribute the programme to all the network members.

Jeebika
Jeebika (Livelihood in English) is a half
hour radio magazine focused on Poverty Reduction Strategy
(PRS) policies and practices. The programme examine the
interlink between policies and implementation and raise the
concerns of the poor in their perspectives. The programme is a
mix of field based report and studio based discussions linking
the grass root reality and policy formation and
implementation. Policy makers or implementing body of
government representative, a member of civil society and stake
holder of related issue should take part in discussion. The
discussion is focus in relation to field experience and
policies of country in order that GOs, INGOs, policy makers
and stakeholders should know where the gap or weakness of
policy and its implementation is.

5. Haamro RHIYA
Club
Haamro RHIYA Club
(HRC) is the only radio programme
specifically designed to deliver Sexual Reproductive Health
(SRH) targeted to youth in youth friendly radio format,
produced by youth in their spirit and active participation and
in the issues of youth. The radio programme was aimed to
improve SRH status of adolescents and youth in
Nepal,
thus, focus on empowering
vulnerable adolescents and youth by increasing their access to
information on as well as their participation in sharing
knowledge to support healthy and informed decisions in the
area of sexual and reproductive health.

Previous Programs
1. Nepal Khabar
• The 10 minute news bulletins on politics,
economy, international events and sports after February 1st,
2005.
• Up to that time the programme was being
broadcast by 14 FM stations all over the country in each 3
hour interval.
2. Hakahaki
CC produced Hakahaki radio
programme with partnership with Centre for Development
Communication (CDC) from 1999 January to July 2002. This was
the 15 minute radio magazine. The effect of Hakahaki could be
judged by its nation-wide Listener's Club formatted by the
programme listeners themselves spontaneously.
3. Barabari
Barabari was a gender focused 15 minute radio
programme that CC produced twenty-six episodes with
partnership with MGEP/UNDP. 'Barabari" Radio programme was
broadcasted through Radio Nepal from February 5, 2002 to
August 13, 2002. The programmes deliver the message of equity
from grass root to policymakers. The programme was focused on
social and religious discrimination and the attempts to root
out it. The programme highlights the importance of women
participation in different level of politics and political
process.
